In Australia today, there are over 101.000 members of Surf Life Saving Clubs. Over 23,000 of these people actively patrol our beaches, giving up their free time to make sure our beaches are safe. Lifesaving isn't just about patrolling beaches, though, it's about getting out there and having fun under the sun: competing in surf events, learning the ways of the water, staying fit and making heaps of friends.
Venus Bay Surf Life Saving Club is a great organisation to join, whether you want to help make the bay's beaches safer, keep fit, compete, or just come down and spend time with great company and enjoy the social scene.
