In Australia today, there are over 101,000 members of Surf Life Saving Clubs. Over 23,000 of these people actively patrol our beaches, giving up their free time to make sure our beaches are safe. Lifesaving isn't just about patrolling beaches, though, it's about getting out there and having fun under the sun: competing in surf events, learning the ways of the water, staying fit and making heaps of friends.

Venus Bay Surf Life Saving Club is a great organisation to join, whether you want to help make the bay's beaches safer, keep fit, compete, or just come down and spend time with great company and enjoy the social scene.

If you are interested in joining Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club and would like to find out more please visit the club on any weekend during the patrol season or any day from Boxing Day to Australia Day.

 MEMBERSHIP FEES

There is a significant cost to run Venus Bay SLSC, to provide the beach patrols, Nipper Program, social events and supporting infrastructure. At this year’s AGM the membership approved the first review of our fee structure for approximately four years.

Parents are encouraged to join the club through family membership.

The review also introduced a rebate aimed at incentivising members to be active in supporting the club; this can be claimed against the 2019/20 season membership fees.

If you have any further questions please contact our memberships officer on membership@vbslsc.org.au.

BUNKHOUSE

Please note that if you or a member of your family intend to use the bunkhouse, the Bunkhouse Waiver must be completed and payment made through the SLSA Payment Portal.
