Venus Bay Surf Life Saving Club

The Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club (VBSLSC) is a member of Lifesaving Victoria which provides lifesaving services to the area of Gippsland coast between Point Symthe at the mouth of Anderson's Inlet and Arch Rock near Cape Liptrap.The club has an active group of young surf lifesavers who volunteer their time to patrol the beach on weekends from November until Easter each year.

During January paid lifeguards patrol the beach on weekdays each summer. Over the summer months the club provides the Nipper Program. The clubhouse is situated in Surf Drive, which is the access road in Venus Bay to Beach 1. It provides gear storage areas, change rooms, showers, first aid room, bunkhouse facilities, training areal function room, kitchen, kiosk, administration office and radio room.
